Jakob Schmid, the man who turned in famous anti-Nazi activists Hans and Sophie Scholl, testifies at his trial. He was a janitor at Sophie's university. Schmid's actions, which led to the Scholls being executed, made him a local hero at the time, Allied-occupied Germany, 1946 .
