The crew of the B-24 bomber "Lady Be Good'. They became lost returning to North Africa from a mission and went missing on April 4, 1943. The aircraft wreck was found deep in the Libyan desert on November 9, 1958. Eight of the nine crew members' bodies were eventually recovered.
