Photo of the 1988 exhumation of The Bones of Charlemagne, ruler of the vast Frankish Empire. At 6 feet (1.84 meters) he was taller than 98% of all people in his time. They are currently part of a reliquary in Aachen Cathedral. Anthropologists believe that these are probably authentic.
