The first elected black woman of Brazil In 1934. Antonieta de Barros was a teacher, journalist and politician. A pioneer on the defense of Afro-Brazilians and woman rights, leaving a great legacy. In 05/01/2023 she officially entered by law into Brazil's Pantheon of National Heroes.
