Fanny Kaplan. She was an Ukrainian Jewish woman, Socialist-Revolutionary, and early Soviet dissident. She was arrested for the attempted assassination of Vladimir Lenin on 30 August 1918 and was executed by the Cheka few days later (Moscow, Russia 1918)
