US and G7 preparing large-scale sanctions for anniversary of Russian invasion

The United States, along with the others in the G7 group of leading industrialized nations, will impose a major package of sanctions on Russia on Feb. 24 to mark a year since the Kremlin began its large-scale invasion and war against Ukraine.
