China Calls on Japan to Not Join U.S. ‘Encirclement’

BEIJING — Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang has called on Japan, with which China will this year mark the 45th anniversary of the signing of the treaty of peace and friendship, to eliminate “obstacles” and move their bilateral relationship forward.
