Turkey unblocks Swedish NATO bid as summit seeks commitment to Ukraine

Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan dropped his resistance to Sweden joining NATO  late on Monday (10 July) evening, on the eve of the alliance's landmark summit in Vilnius set to discuss Ukraine's own push for membership.
