10% of IDF soldiers killed since the beginning of the ground operation in Gaza are American citizens, according to the US embassy in Jerusalem.

Though U.S. citizens make up less than 2 percent of Israel’s population, they account for almost 10 percent of the country’s war dead since Oct 7.
