St. Gianna Beretta Molla, 1960s. Italian pediatrician and mother of four known for her charity. In her 4th pregnancy, she was diagnosed with ovarian cyst, but asked doctors to save her child’s life over her own. Her surviving daughter, named Gianna, grew up to be a doctor also.
