The last Mughal emperor – King of Delhi Bahadur Shah Zafar. Only two photographs of him are known, this one was taken around 1860, shortly before his death in 1862, when he was in exile in Rangoon after the Indian Uprising (1857-1859). Most of his sons were executed by the British.
